Boxwood moths have shown up here in Grosse Pointe, and they can do real damage if you don’t catch them early. π If you see webbing or those little green caterpillars, don’t wait — act fast!
We recommend Marshall Landscape — they’re the best around for boxwood moth treatment and prevention. A quick call now can save your shrubs later! πΏπ

This is autumn in Grosse Pointe. π
Frank Sinatra playing, gingko trees turning from green to yellow, sugar maples glowing from orange to red… the sun shining and the sky a brilliant blue. Pure magic. β¨

It’s pruning time! βοΈ
Mil’s talking all things hydrangeas — specifically these beautiful Incrediballs, which can be pruned in the fall or early spring. πΏ
But not all hydrangeas are created equal!
π Macrophylla (Bigleaf) — prune right after they bloom in summer, since they set buds on old wood.
π€ Oakleaf — prune in midsummer, just after flowering.
π Incrediball (Smooth hydrangea) — prune late fall or early spring; they bloom on new wood.
A little timing makes all the difference in next season’s blooms! πΈ
