Look for pink!
Look for pink!
We are back for part two, and Mil has something special. First, she is introducing a plant she thinks deserves a spot in more Grosse Pointe gardens. We are not going to spoil it here. You will have to watch. Then we are talking hosta. Specifically, what that discoloration you are noticing actually means and what to do about it before it gets worse. And to close us out: allium. Mil is sharing what summer care looks like for these beauties now that the blooms have faded. Two parts, one very good Monday. Catch part one if you missed it, and let us know in the comments what is going on in your garden right now.
Mondays with Mil is back, and we have updates. First up: remember that boxwood situation? Mil is walking you through how the BT spray performed and what she’s seeing now. If your boxwoods have been struggling this season, this one is for you. Then we’re talking peonies. Yes, they’re done blooming, but your work is not. Mil is sharing what summer peony maintenance actually looks like and why what you do now matters for next year. And stay tuned for part two, because Mil has a special plant to introduce. You will want to see this one.
